Martha Stewart Finds America’s Best Bakers

ST. LOUIS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Sometimes sugar and spice, and everything nice is the stuff that grown men are made of.

Case in point: Aubrey Cook, a 32-year-old manager at a 24-hour currency exchange bank from St. Louis, has been dubbed one of the five Best Bakers in America according to Martha Stewart.

Stewart’s talk show Martha recently held a national search for bakers, and of the thousands who entered, Cook wowed judges with his homemade lemon, vanilla and almond- flavored poundcake.

Cook says he was on set filming an episode of Martha and when he baked his cake for the domestic diva she loved it so much, she wrapped it up and took it home for herself.

Cook says he picked up his tasty talent watching his aunt and other family members bake, adding, “My aunt told me that I’d be the first black President or a baker.”

And in Cook’s words, “One more to go.”

The episode will air Wednesday (Nov. 9).
