Should The World Be Worried About Celine Dion?

PEACH BOTTOM, Pa. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Celine Dion and her longtime manager Rene Angelil seem to have a happy, flourishing marriage, but according to one author, their relationship probably didn’t start off that way.

Christopher McDougall is the author of the book, Girl Trouble: The True Saga Of Superstar Gloria Trevi And The Secret Teenage Sex Cult That Stunned The World (Rayo), and says after profiling Trevi – the Latina star who teamed up with her manager, an alleged child molester and sex-slave master, when she was 12 – he fears other artists like Dion, who are “formed” at an early age, are “silly putty” in the hands of their managers.

Because Dion and Angelil started working together when she was the tender age of 12, McDougall speculates their relationship started off unhealthy but turned into something healthy.

McDougall doesn’t want to insinuate that Angelil did anything as awful as Trevi’s manager, but points out, “There’s only one person who knows what happened to Celine Dion and that’s Celine Dion.”

McDougall’s book hits stores Nov. 1.
