Christopher McDougall is the author of the book, Girl Trouble: The True Saga Of Superstar Gloria Trevi And The Secret Teenage Sex Cult That Stunned The World (Rayo), and says after profiling Trevi the Latina star who teamed up with her manager, an alleged child molester and sex-slave master, when she was 12 he fears other artists like Dion, who are formed at an early age, are silly putty in the hands of their managers.
Because Dion and Angelil started working together when she was the tender age of 12, McDougall speculates their relationship started off unhealthy but turned into something healthy.
McDougall doesnt want to insinuate that Angelil did anything as awful as Trevis manager, but points out, Theres only one person who knows what happened to Celine Dion and thats Celine Dion.
McDougalls book hits stores Nov. 1.
