Former NFL Player Hopes Brains, Not Brawn Impresses Trump

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Donald Trump may want to think twice about firing aspiring apprentice Chris Valletta when the newest season of The Apprentice premieres tomorrow (Sep. 22).

That’s because Valletta is 6-foot-3, 250-plus pounds and a former NFL lineman, playing for three teams including the New Orleans Saints.

While his size and background make him an easy target to have the “meat head” label slapped on him, the 27-year-old figures that’s what has helped him in the real world.

As the marketing executive puts it, “I entered the business world light years ahead of any other 26-year-old, purely because of the lessons I was taught as an athlete.”

Big businessman or not, Valletta shouldn’t worry about hearing the words “You’re fired” if he keeps lobbing compliments at The Donald, who he calls “the Iron Man of the business world” because “he has proven his resiliency. He is passionate and unrelenting when it comes to his drive to succeed.”
