Booted ‘So You Think You Can Dance’ Contestants Laugh Off Criticism

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Two more dancers were sent home on last night’s episode (Sept. 14) of FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance, but they’re feeling fine thanks to their “I’m rubber, you’re glue” approach towards the judges’ criticism.

Destini Rogers – who blew people away last week with her hip-hop performance with Jamile – says the judges’ verbal jabs “didn’t make me feel anything. I’m my own self...Not once did I feel small or feel like I wasn’t a great dancer.”

Fellow booted breakdancer Ryan Conferido chimes in, “Whenever they say something mean to me, I have like three other mean things I could say right back at my disposal. But I’m like, let me just hold it back.”

Rogers may not mind the judges’ words, but she does mind dirty looks. She explains, “I don’t like any of their facial expressions. They’re looking at you like you’re a piece of fried meat and you’re horrible.”

Conferido, on the other hand, says he enjoyed everything, good and bad, because he admits, “I really didn’t have much to do before the show.”
