Animator Kids Around With World Domination

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Tom Warburton isn’t hedging his bets.

The animator figures kids will one day take over the world and make adults slaves – and he wants to ensure he gets assigned “one of the easier slave jobs.”

Warburton is the creator of the Cartoon Network series, Codename: Kids Next Door, which details an underground unit of kid crusaders fighting tyrannical adults for control of their destiny.

It’s a subject close to Warburton’s heart. As he puts it, “Ever since I was very young I’ve had a sneaking suspicion adults were up to something.”

Don’t worry, parents: Codename: Kids Next Door isn’t meant to the be a political manifesto inspiring kids to reject their parents’ rule.

In fact, Warburton often gets compliments from moms and dads who say it’s the only show they watch with their kids.

The show has now inspired its own trading card game – the first one for the 5-year-old market. Warburton says repeated play “won’t help you take over the real world but you will be able to take over THIS world.”
