Taylor – one of seven singers left on the CBS reality show, Rock Star: INXS – credits the Aussie band with teaching him to save a little bit of himself on stage.
As he puts it, “My initial feeling is to always be on fire vocally but they’ve taught me the importance of letting things simmer. It’s like sex – what do you do after the orgasm?”
Taylor doesn’t know if he’ll be chosen as the lead singer but is enjoying himself more than he has in weeks and says the proof of that is he’s sticking his tongue out all the time on camera; something he only does when he’s in his comfort zone.
Of course, it’s not making his mom comfortable. Taylor admits his mom is always telling him to keep his tongue in his mouth.
