Pitching Arm Comes In Handy For ‘Average Joe’ On ‘Battle Of The Network Reality Stars’

BOSTON (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The new reality show Battle of the Network Reality Stars premiered on Bravo last night (Aug. 17), and contestant Brian Worth is thankful for his pitching arm.

Worth, who starred on Average Joe 2: Hawaii, says, “I never thought throwing out a ceremonial pitch would help out during the dunking booth event.”

He’s referring to the opening pitch he threw out last year at Fenway Park for a Red Sox-Phillies game, and last night, using the same technique, he dunked Coral Smith from The Real World: Back to New York.

Worth says Smith “has a mouth on her, but so do I,” and explains he had to keep his shut so he could focus on dunking her.

In his words, “I said to myself, ‘Brian, if you go back and forth with her, you won’t dunk her.’”

He must have done something right, because he dunked Smith two out of three times.

Although he’s keeping mum about what’ll happen on the remaining five episodes of the series, he does confess, “I wish I took roller skating lessons.”
