Biker Art Revving Up Interest

GRAND BLANC, Mich. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Bikers love art and one Michigan fine pencil artist hopes to cash in on it.

Although bikers typically have a rough exterior, Anthony Vittone believes they have a soft spot for Picasso-like pieces.

That’s why he’s begun drawing up biker-themed portraits and still-lifes, which are being showcased on the motorcycle riding website,

Vittone, who mainly focused on military and police-themed black and white sketches in the past, figures he’s made a good decision delving into the biker art business.

In his words, “Bikers got money and when they want something, they get it. On the other hand, cops are cheap. They always want a deal.”

Although Vittone admits he’s “not much of a rider,” he believes it won’t affect his work. He points to the bikers who’ve seen his stuff at art shows and “just love it. There’s not really a market out there for biker art.”
