Luckily, theres a self-proclaimed hedonist who says you can still be healthy while binging and boozing.
Janet Bridgers, author of The Healthy Hedonist (Terracotta Books), says many people may think fruit doesnt belong on a day of indulgences of vices, but when its mixed with alcoholic drinks, it provides a lot of vitamins and can help reduce hangovers the next morning.
Also, for vino-chugging folks, Bridgers says salad should be thrown down the hatchet because it detoxes wine in the system the next day.
Meanwhile, partiers who stuff their pie-holes with hotdogs and burgers should toss the bun because, as she puts it, We dont need that much white bread anyways.
Finally, Bridgers recommends staying away from caffeine- saturated drinks because they dehydrate the body, which leads to head-banging hangovers the next day for boozers.
