Stephen Pearcy Driven To Create Hot Rod Soundtrack

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Former Ratt lead singer Stephen Pearcy is a driven man these days.

Driven to create music that is made for drag racing.

Pearcy says his latest CD, Fueler, was inspired by his love of hot rods and all the songs are formulated like a drag race: With quick acceleration out of the gate and as fast a finish as possible.

But Pearcy’s need for speed isn’t new. He actually planned to become a professional racer when he was a teen but had to change plans after suffering two broken legs in an accident.

Still, that hasn’t stopped him from having his own racing team and says the new CD is a soundtrack for speed.

However, he hopes that anyone who listens to the album while driving do it off-road because he fears it could increase the risk of speeding tickets.

Pearcy will be on the road starting Tuesday (Jun. 28) with W.A.S.P. and Metal Circus.
