Days May Be Numbered In Holmes, Cruise May-December Marriage

ATLANTA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The May-December marriage between Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may not make it all the way to December.

Divorce lawyer John Mayoue, who has handled clients like Jane Fonda and Newt Gingrich, says while age differences between Cruise and Holmes may play a part, other differences are what will most likely drive them apart.

Mayoue says their careers being in different stages, the religious differences and that Cruise has children from a previous marriage could drive a wedge between them.

He says the two may say today, “Sure, I respect [the differences], I may even like them,” but those differences will become problematic as they get older.

Mayoue says couples in their position will usually call it quits before they get to the point where age becomes a factor and one wants to go to bed before the other.
