Spectacular, Unusual Homes Needed For New TV Show

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – While celebrities’ bling-filled pleasure palaces get all the attention on MTV’s Cribs, a new show wants to find average Joes and Janes who have over-the-top features in their abodes.

HGTV is looking for amateur home designers in the U.S. who’ve created an unusual living space in their home and want to show off their accomplishment on the new show, Look What I Did.

The producers are looking for people who are not pros and did the remodeling themselves without the help of experts or contractors.

Natalia Garcia, a supervising producer for the pilot, says they shot one segment with a wood worker who built a roller coaster in his backyard for his grandkids.

Interested homebodies are encouraged to apply at or call (818) 755-4800, ext. 263.
