The show, Fire Me...Please, pits two contestants against each other in a race to get fired. They start work at a coffee house or clothing store the same day and wear hidden cameras to capture them doing stupid stunts in the hopes theyll get fired as close to 3:00 pm as possible.
The worst worker will walk away with $25,000.
Host Dave Holmes says the workers cant do anything illegal and cant assault their boss, but, in the first episode, a woman warms her hands in her female bosss armpits.
Reflecting on his own career, Holmes says before he got into acting and comedy he worked as an advertising guy and was fired.
He says hed stare out the window and dream of getting fired in a blaze of glory like on the show, but in his words, Good old incompetence took care of it.
Fire Me...Please premieres June 7 on CBS.
