Workers Asking To Get Canned For New Reality Show

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A new reality show is being seen as the anti-Apprentice, because contestants actually want to hear the words, “You’re fired.”

The show, Fire Me...Please, pits two contestants against each other in a race to get fired. They start work at a coffee house or clothing store the same day and wear hidden cameras to capture them doing stupid stunts in the hopes they’ll get fired as close to 3:00 pm as possible.

The worst worker will walk away with $25,000.

Host Dave Holmes says the workers can’t do anything illegal and can’t assault their boss, but, in the first episode, a woman warms her hands in her female boss’s armpits.

Reflecting on his own career, Holmes says before he got into acting and comedy he worked as an advertising guy and was fired.

He says he’d stare out the window and dream of getting fired in a blaze of glory like on the show, but in his words, “Good old incompetence took care of it.”

Fire Me...Please premieres June 7 on CBS.
