San Francisco Woman Searching For Bigfoot In Name Of Art

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Art is in the eye of the beholder and one San Francisco-based artist is hoping to see Bigfoot.

Starting July 2, artist Jill Miller will start a six-week exhibition in an art gallery in England and her piece will center around her search for Bigfoot.

Miller won’t be at the gallery in the flesh. Instead, she will be camping in an area of Northern California that has been the site of previous Sasquatch sightings and will send photos of her search via web cam back to the gallery.

She will also take digital photos of her hikes during her six- week expedition-exhibition.

Miller admits she’s skeptical about Bigfoot and says her piece is meant to show that the hairy creature is a “a metaphor for the human desire for mystery and the unknown.”

Still, Miller is taking the search seriously as possible and hopes the exhibition contributes to the current canon of Bigfoot knowledge.
