SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Rap music made by white people is a surefire way to get folks high fiving.

National High Five Day is this Thursday (Apr. 15), and a group of white people with mad rhyming skills are spreading holiday cheer with their rap video, National High Five Day.

Co-creator Greg Gibson says the crew all got together and listed “the craziest reasons to high five” in a “semi-coherent rap.”

They include Asian foot massages, listening to more Paul Simon, and following everyone from Full House on Twitter.

With all the negativity in the world, Gibson feels it’s important to promote high fives because they require “no special skills.”

The gesture makes anyone’s day a little brighter with each slap of the hand, especially when white rappers are involved.

He explains, “There’s probably nothing funnier than white people rapping. Everyone gravitates toward them. It’s a recipe for success.”
