`The Office' Hires A Groupie

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Joining the cast of The Office is easy when you’re already a die-hard fan of the show.Ellie Kemper plays bubbly receptionist Erin Hannon and pinches herself every day that she’s working on one of her favorite shows.
She says, “It’s strange to have watched the show on my futon for five years and then be on it.”
Going to work is a surreal experience for the actress, who walked onto set on her first day in awe to see her favorite actors in the flesh.
Though she had definite fears, Kemper was embraced by her new co-workers.
However, she did have to go through her fair share of newbie hazing.
She got it pretty bad from the whole crew, who made cracks at her expense, but Office star Angela Kinsey really showed no mercy.
Kemper dishes, “Angela hazed me the hardest. Lots of pranks with that one.”
The Office airs Thursdays on NBC.
