`Race' Duo Becomes Casualty Of War

Bye-bye to Joe and Heidi

Bye-bye to Joe and Heidi

EL SEGUNDO, Calif. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The latest Amazing Race casualties just couldn’t keep up with the rhythm – literally.

Married duo Joe and Heidi Wang were eliminated from The Amazing Race this past Sunday (Mar. 14) after failing to decode a message in Morse code during a WWI re-enactment challenge.

Though their frustration was shown over just a few minutes on TV, in reality, the Wangs tried for six hours to crack the code before finally giving up.

They never thought they’d be so stumped on their TV travels.

In fact, Heidi says they prepared in every way imaginable for the Race, both physically and mentally. She even got Lasik eye surgery to be at her sharpest.

The Wangs “never want to hear dots and dashes” from Morse code ever again, but their eight-year-old son is studying the old communication method after being disturbed by his parents’ elimination.

The Amazing Race airs Sundays on CBS.
