`Little' Star Makes Big Impact

PORTLAND, Ore. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Now that her kids are growing up, the star of Little People, Big World can make a big impact.

TLC star Amy Roloff has been given amazing opportunities thanks to her reality TV series, which follows her family as they deal with dwarfism.

The teeny star says having her two oldest sons go off to college and the network provide the family with income and “fun stuff” has allowed her to branch out and give back, especially through the Amy Roloff Charity Foundation.

Currently, the charity is booking a cruise for the summer that will take people to Haiti and Mexico to provide clothes, food, and supplies to the less fortunate, while still having fun on board.

Unlike fellow TLC stars Jon and Kate Gosselin, Roloff says she’s “taking advantage” of what she’s been given to make a difference for others since, “You can only have so much stuff.”
