ROCHESTER, N.Y. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Finally, the ultimate cure for brain freeze has been found.The Buddy System is a disposable plastic sleeve that fits on the bottom of an ice cream cone where a paper jacket would normally go.
The device is built to catch dripping ice cream from getting everywhere, which means people can eat their treat at their own pace.
Without having to rush to lick up ice cream, it may be the long-awaited cure for brain freeze.
Creator Bob Sotile says the “conedom” also prevents the spread of diseases like swine flu because bare hands never touch the cone.
With the prophylactic in place, ice cream tastes exactly the same as if one weren’t using a “conedom” at all.
Sotile has sold more than 400 million Buddy Systems worldwide. The idea came to him after visiting an ice cream shop and watching an unsanitary worker touch money, her hair, and his cone all at once.
