LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One rising starlet is quickly becoming the queen of tear-jerkers.Leslea Fisher plays Amanda Seyfried’s best friend in the romantic drama, Dear John, in theaters this Friday (Feb. 5).
In the past, she’s also starred in flicks like Radio and The Notebook – pretty much guaranteed to make anyone cry.
Fisher isn’t quite sure why she keeps landing roles in tear-jerkers, though she finds the pattern quite funny.
Even with the huge risk of her make-up running, Fisher loves her weepy flicks. She’s gotten good at warning her family and friends of the emotions to come prior to screenings and premieres.
Though she’s a whiz at drama, Fisher has a lighter side too.
The actress is a big fan of Judd Apatow comedies and would love to flex her chops as a female comic like Leslie Mann in one of Apatow’s funny films.
