BELLEVILLE, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Just because your loved one is dead doesn’t mean you can’t send them a nice greeting card.Unfortunately, greeting cards are geared for the living.
That’s why Richard W. Thompson created Eternally Yours, a line of personalized “eternity cards” specially designed to be placed at the grave site of a loved one who has passed away.
The cards come laminated to endure any rainy days at the cemetery, and provide comfort for those who still want to feel connected to their friends and family who have passed on.
Though he’s happy to give the dead their Easter, Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Valentine’s Day greetings, Thompson admits some cards are tough to write and design.
Writing a greeting card for someone who dies from suicide is “emotional” for him because it’s hard to bring comfort to someone who’s loved one chose to depart from the Earth.
