According to Patrick Tucker, senior editor of The Futurist Magazine, scientific improvements over the next decade will allow people to live to the ripe old age of 150.
He says that by 2020, we will have the know-how to improve our genetics allowing us to live incredibly long, active lifestyles.
Those already alive and kicking wont benefit from the treatment though, as it can only be given to unborn embryos.
With future humans being healthy their entire lives, Tucker believes the cost of healthcare will also be dramatically reduced.
In due time, people may live even longer than 150 years.
Tucker says that nano-technology might eventually help people live as long as 300 years while not looking a day over 40.
