Child To Blow Up Texas Stadium

GLENVIEW, Ill. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One dynamite kid will get to make an explosive impact in Texas this spring.

The legendary Texas Stadium in Irving, Texas – home of the Dallas Cowboys – is set to be blown up April 11, 2010.

The major implosion will be at the hands of a nine to 12-year- old kid, since KRAFT Macaroni & Cheese is sponsoring the event.

Now through February 5 the company is holding their CHEDDAR EXPLOSION contest, asking kids to submit short essays and illustrations explaining the “positive, explosive differences” they’ve made in their communities.

One lucky kid will be chosen as the winner and get to push the magic button that officially detonates the 37-year-old stadium.

The boom won’t just mean a fresh start for Texas, it’ll also launch CHEDDAR EXPLOSION Mac & Cheese, on shelves soon.

Contest rules are available at projectcheddarexplosion.com.
