At least thats the case with the Belly Love, a couch created by Paris-based designer Florence Jaffrain.
Its made of soft foam covered in glow-in-the-dark fibers that move making it seem as if the cozy seat is alive and wrapping you in warmth.
It also releases a pleasant fragrance in the air, since its proven that feelings of love are often connected to specific scents.
Jaffrain calls the Belly Love a paradise of the senses and vessel for the body, and was inspired by the look and feel of soft coral found in the Indian Ocean.
She adds, Its called a Belly because it takes us back to our life in the womb and also because it breathes and feels like protective male figure. So really the chair is androgynous or like a hermaphrodite.
