That’s because the tale of jolly ol’ St. Nick never made much sense to him as a kid.
Since he’s always liked to “make sense of things,” Rock was confused about the whole idea of a fat guy in a red suit sliding down the chimney.
He discovered Santa wasn’t real one day after catching his dad unloading Christmas presents from the car and took it surprisingly well.
Rock says it “wasn’t traumatic” and, frankly, more of a “relief” since it meant the whole weird Santa story wasn’t actually true.
Santa or no Santa, Rock enjoys Christmas.
One of his favorite memories is the time he and his daughters spent Christmas on safari in Africa and the girls worried that Santa wouldn’t be able to find them.
On Christmas morning, they were overjoyed to magically find presents under the tree.
