The Farm Animal Rights Movement (F.A.R.M.) wants people to take a cue from the prez on Turkey Day by pardoning a gobbler and going vegetarian.
Spokesperson Jen Riley says millions of turkeys are gruesomely killed to feed Americans on Thanksgiving, but if letting a bird live is good enough for Obama, then it should be good enough for the rest of the country.
With Obama being so popular, unlike the last president, Riley hopes more people will follow suit and plan to pardon.
Instead of dining on a dead bird, Americans can enjoy Tofurkey, field roast, or garden protein all meat alternatives that are still shaped like a turkey to get the full Thanksgiving experience.
People can also gorge on lentils, mock meatloaf, or stuffed squash to satisfy their meaty needs, or just enjoy side dishes like mashed potatoes and green bean casserole.
