Find My Family, a show that brings lost loved ones back together, premieres Monday (Nov. 23) on ABC and hosts Lisa Joyner and Tim Green suggest viewers keep the Kleenex close by.
That’s because the reunions are so heartfelt and emotional, it’s a total sob fest.
Joyner claims, “We’re the ‘cryingest’ show on TV. We give Extreme Home Makeover a run for its money.”
She’s constantly looking for waterproof mascara to wear during filming, and has seen even the most “crusty, old producers” get choked up while making the show.
Co-host Tim Green, who’s often considered a “macho man,” also keeps tissues handy for the waterworks and says his main challenge is keeping it together on camera.
The family reunions really hit home for the hosts, since they were both adopted themselves.
