According to a poll by Fandango.com, the nation’s leading movie-ticketing destination, 52 percent of the franchise’s fans admit they dream about vampires in their sleep.
The Twilight mania doesn’t end there.
About 51 percent say they’ll scream as the lights go down in the theater for the first New Moon showing Thursday (Nov. 19) at midnight.
Furthermore, 10 percent of fans attending those first screenings will dress up in costume as one of the characters from the Twilight saga.
New Moon fever is also seeping into fans’ love lives.
About 15 percent wish their husband or boyfriend were more like Edward Cullen, while 20 percent just wish Edward was their boy toy in the first place.
About 12 percent want Jacob Black to be their boyfriend, although 61 percent are more excited to see Taylor Lautner take off his shirt than Robert Pattinson ditch his in New Moon.
