Artists Christine and Justin Gignac get what they want by simply painting it on WantsForSale.com.
They sell art depicting their wish – like a painting of a Snuggie – and use the money to buy the actual item.
Their latest series of “want” paintings features “As Seen On TV” items they’ve had their eye on, like a Chia Pet and ShamWow.
Justin admits they could just buy the items, but turning their wish list into an art project is way more fun.
The Gignacs sold every “As Seen On TV painting” in just four minutes and have already ordered their goods.
However, there is one thing they really wanted but didn’t get.
Justin laments, “We wanted the Clapper, but it’s just a grey box. It wouldn’t have made a cool painting. We’ll have to foot the bill for that one.”
