Big Mamas & Papas Pizzeria in Hollywood makes a 54-inch pie that weighs a hefty 80 pounds fresh out of the oven.
Its made with 20 pounds of dough, gallons of tomato sauce, 12 pounds of mozzarella, and up to 30 toppings, and can only be delivered in a customized box in the back of a special flatbed truck.
Big Mamas owner Aro Agakhanyan says the massive pie takes at least two to four people to make and deliver, and 25 people to eat.
Still, brave teams of four or five often attempt to down it for prize money, but none prevail.
Agakhanyan sells several of the 54-inchers a week, many to offices, film sets, and pizza parties for $200-$400 a pop.
However, he cant guarantee a standard 30-minute delivery since carefully loading and driving the monster takes time.
