Parents of finicky eaters could learn from Mark Northeast, creator of FunkyLunch.com, which chronicles the creative way hes gotten his picky kids to eat their food.
Northeast has turned his kids sandwiches into works of art, such as an edible rocket, baby grand piano, and a pig.
Now, his children devour every crumb on their plate.
Northeast says that by simply cutting a sandwich into a fun shape hes gotten his kids to eat tomatoes, which they never did before.
Hes disguised tomatoes as the bow on a Hello Kitty- shaped sandwich or the tie on an edible SpongeBob Squarepants.
He says parents should take a cue and try the same method since it works, and adds, It encourages kids to try new things.
