Juggling Champs Treated Like Rockstars

ORLANDO, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Being a champion juggler could turn an average Joe Schmoe into a rockstar.

At the 62nd Annual International Juggler’s Association Festival in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, on July 13-19, hundreds will compete in juggling feats that test endurance, ability, and creativity.

Festival director Mike Sullivan says winning the gold medal is a great achievement for any juggler and often leads to whirlwind success.

Champs often get job offers pouring in from renowned acts like Cirque du Soleil and Barnum & Bailey’s Circus, and essentially become rockstars of the juggling world.

Sullivan explains, “Winners get a lot of fame and notoriety among jugglers. Real luminaries have fans and even groupies.”

However, since there aren’t big bucks to be made as a master juggler, Sullivan laments that a tossing champ will never quite be on par with athletes like Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
