The Gallery of the Absurd in San Francisco is home to the artwork of an artist known as Fourteen, who paints portraits of celebrities best and worst tabloid gossip moments.
Fourteen has garnered some criticism for her arguably cruel paintings, which have featured Sarah Jessica Parker with a horse face, Rumer Willis with a potato for a head, and Paris Hilton with large crabs hanging around her crotch.
She explains, Its more about the social commentary than about the celebrity themselves that serves as inspiration. I paint what people say about them. I dont want to be mean. I have to walk the line.
Fourteen says a few celebs have gotten up in arms over her mocking masterpieces, including Paris Hilton who threatened to sue her for defamation and Courtney Love who sent her an angry, incoherent email.
