Al B. Sure! Still Helps Dudes Score

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – An Al B. Sure! album may be all a fella needs to woo a woman.

The smooth “Nite & Day” singer is releasing his first CD in 15 years – Honey I’m Home – on June 23 and says his R&B jams are still meant for romancing.

He says that over the years guys have figured out that the way to a woman’s heart is to show up with candy, flowers, and his tracks, which create a steamy “connection” between a couple.

He’s studied legends like Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, and Al Green to perfect his own swagger and thinks it’s time sexy slow jams came back to radio.

Sure says modern music has become very technical and riddled with modulators, so he’s hoping natural, soulful tunes start reappearing.

He says romantic ditties can be made anytime, anywhere. His original hits were born in his cousin’s basement, as he played the organ and watched TV.
