Kids Pass Notes To Obama

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Sometimes kids say the darndest things – especially to the president.

Like many adults, children have an opinion on President Barack Obama, and their voices are heard in the book Dear President Obama: Letters Of Hope From Children Across America (Beckham Publications).

Co-author Bruce Kluger compiled letters written by kids ages four to 18 from all over the U.S. letting Obama know how they feel about the country, and Kluger says grown ups shouldn’t underestimate a minor’s mind.

He says, “Kids really get it. They asked about the environment, the war, the economy. They may not understand the stuff with AIG, but they get that the economy reflects what they can have at home.”

Compiling the letters made Kluger feel “encouraged about the future of the country.”

Though all the notes were hopeful for the future of an Obama America, Kluger says not all the kids were onboard with the prez and some questioned his “liberal” policies.
