This past Sunday (May 18), Alabama cattle rancher James JT Thomas was crowned the champion of Survivor: Tocantins, and the sweet southern gentlemen says his good attitude may have had a little something to do with his unanimous win.
He says, I played honestly, and I was well liked. Im sure my southern charm helped a little, but I never thought Id win in a landslide.
Thomas admits he had to do some deceiving towards the end, but hes proud that he played a noble game.
He believes his landslide victory came as a result of the relationships he created with all his fellow competitors in Brazil, which made it harder for them to vote him out.
The cattle rancher plans on taking his $1 million prize and putting it towards college tuition for his 11 nieces and one nephew.
