‘Top Model’ Winner Manhandles Her Weave

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Top Model winner Teyona Anderson has a real handle on her hair.

Anderson won America’s Next Top Model this past Wednesday (May 13), despite losing her weave on the runway during the finale fashion show.

Instead of freaking out about the wayward weave, Anderson took control and flung it around wildly, which she believes helped her win.

Anderson says she felt her hair slipping the entire time on the runway so when it fell, it wasn’t really that “unbeweavable.”

She says that’s the most embarrassing weave moment she’s ever had, but not the most traumatizing.

At the beginning of the season Anderson was given a short, curly, “Shirley Temple” weave that she and the judges ended up hating.

She said the hairpiece felt like a “curled up dog” on her head, so she named it “Fifi.” It was later replaced with a long, wavy, more natural weave.
