Horror Actor Snaps Into Murder Mode

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Playing a psychotic serial killer is a concern for one actor, mainly because he’s so good at it.

For his upcoming film B.T.K., actor Kane Hodder sharpened his terror tools to play famed serial murderer Dennis Rader, otherwise known as the B.T.K. Killer, known for binding, torturing, and killing at least 10 people in the Wichita, Kansas, area.

Though he’s able to keep the character and his own personality separate, Hodder admits there’s a little murderer in him that he just can’t deny.

He explains, “My personality is closer to the horrible type of person. It does concern me from time to time. I’m not gonna fall into my character’s way of life, but I do get to the violent point too easily.”

Hodder says his oldest friends don’t worry about his hidden maniacal ways because they know he wouldn’t really hurt them.

However, new acquaintances do tend to fear the actor.

B.T.K. is out on DVD today (May 12).
