The Berkeley Springs International Water Tasting Competition is flowing into Berkeley Springs, Colorado, tomorrow (Feb. 19) through Sunday (Feb. 22), where waters from around the world are judged by their taste.
Spokesperson Jill Klein Rone says testing the waters can change someones life.
She explains, After the competition, people really start to pay a lot more attention to water. People become aware of the fact that different waters taste different. They learn a whole new approach to drinking water.
The contest has even been known to convert soda and juice drinkers to the clear side after they discover the health benefits and how great the taste can be.
Attending the water taste test also opens peoples eyes to the dangers of the worlds steadily declining water supply.
Klein Rone says, People ignore water and its unfortunate because we cant live without it. There isnt enough to go around so people need to start protecting it better.
