People Prefer Hotties In Headsets

PORTLAND, Ore. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Dealing with customer service reps is easier when you think there’s a hottie in a headset on the other line. is a website that features photos from various customer service websites of good looking women wearing headsets, ready to help people with their woes.

Site creator Scott Carver says headset hotties are the “biggest web design cliche” because in reality, it’s most likely a “middle-aged, nerdy fat dude” helping you out on the other end.

Carver explains, “People like attractive people. They don’t want to see that guy on the site.”

Usually when someone calls customer support, they’re frustrated or upset about something, and Carver believes companies use attractive models to spin people’s anger into a “positive thing,” since they think they’ll be talking to a hot chick.

He says, “It’s kind of a strange trend, but companies like to create the illusion that their brand is sexy in some way. It’s not very deep.”
