Actor’s Robot Posture Would Make Mom Proud

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Becoming a robot means turning into a real working stiff.

Just ask actor JP Manoux, who plays a destructible android named S.T.A.N. on the upcoming Disney XD action series Aaron Stone.

Manoux uses tricks for playing his robot character, and he thinks of his mom when coming up with them.

He explains, “I try to have good posture. I think my mom would be very disappointed if my android hunched over or slouched at all.”

To be an even more believable robot, Manoux makes sure to be very “deliberate” in his movements because, “There really shouldn’t be any questions along the way if everything in your head is yes, no, yes, no.”

Manoux assures that playing a robot can make shooting scenes very strange.

Says Manoux: “I have a hologram projector in my left eye. It’s so hilarious to actually do on the day we’re shooting. It’s a lot of me firing an invisible beam out of my head and trying not to blink.”

Aaron Stone premieres February 13 on Disney XD.
