Actor Admits Affinity For Chick Flicks

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – A real man isn’t afraid to admit he loves chick flicks.

At least that’s the case with actor Adam Kaufman – of Without A Trace – who stars in a new Hallmark Hall of Fame movie called Loving Leah.

The unconventional romantic comedy about an Orthodox Jewish widow who weds her late husband’s brother is right up Kaufman’s alley because admittedly, he’s a “sucker for chick flicks.”

Among his preferred rom-coms are Pretty Woman, Four Weddings And A Funeral, and his “all-time favorite movie,” Notting Hill.

In fact, Kaufman enjoys girly flicks so much, he once auditioned for a supporting role in The Notebook.

He didn’t get the part but he did see The Notebook in theaters, which was when he realized he was seriously hooked on chick flicks.

Kaufman laughs, “I was the only single guy there in a sea of women besides a homeless person who was eating a sandwich and talking to himself. I knew I had a problem!”

Loving Leah premieres Sunday (Jan. 25) on CBS.
