Ghosts Haunt New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31)

NEW ORLEANS (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Ghosts will be hitting up bars and parties this New Year’s Eve (Dec. 31) and causing all sorts of mischief.

According to ghost hunter Gina Lanier, ghosts are looking to ring in 2009 with a bang, and places that house electrical chords, like nightclubs and bars, will be paranormal hotspots since ghosts feed off electromagnetic fields.

Also, flowing champagne will keep Casper close by because the dead love to get close to drunk revelers and have a good time.

Lanier says, “I think ghosts like to celebrate New Year’s. If you were trapped on the other side, it would seem logical to me that you would want to have fun too with people who are having fun.”

Along with rattling their bones on the dance floor, Lanier says ghosts will cause mischief by moving people’s drinks and may even possess a living human in order to steal a New Year’s kiss.
