Photographer Destined To Find Superstars

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One photographer has an eye for finding the next big celebrity.

When Karen Bystedt arrived in Hollywood in 1988, camera in tow, she never realized she’d end up photographing nobodies who’d become the biggest stars in the world.

In her book They Dared to Dream: Hollywood’s “A” List Before They Were Stars (Channel Trade Books), Bystedt shares the photos she took of a pre-fame Brad Pitt, Robert Downey Jr., Sandra Bullock, and Johnny Depp, and thinks she has a gift for finding talent.

She says, “I think finding future stars is my fate. Not even I thought they’d become superstars but over time everyone I photographed got huge. I could’ve been a manager or agent.”

Upon meeting these soon-to-be stars, Bystedt reveals that Brad Pitt used to wear all his underwear inside out before washing them and that Sandra Bullock was so into home improvement you’d always find her “on her knees in the bathroom re- tiling her floor.”
