Canadian Husbands Finally Make Dinner

OTTAWA (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Finally, it’s guys’ turn to get in the kitchen and cook dinner.

Tomorrow (Nov. 6) is National Men Make Dinner Day in Canada, a holiday which gives domestically-challenged hubbies the chance to slave over a hot stove for their wives for a change.

The special day was cooked up 10 years ago by Sandy Sharkey who says it allows her one meal a year made by her husband.

Of course, the holiday doesn’t happen without occasional cooking casualties in the kitchen.

Sharkey has heard stories about “utensils melting to burners” and men busting out their power drills as cooking tools, but has high hopes for this year’s celebration.

She laments, “I just hope nobody ends up getting their stomach pumped.”

But she believes the food fiascos are worth it because a man in the kitchen can lead to an even tastier dish in the bedroom.

She says, “Nothing is sexier than a man in an apron.”
