Aerospace Skills Help Your Golf Game

CARSON CITY, Nev. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – The business skills that helped put a man on the moon can also help you on the golf course.

Project management expert and aerospace engineer Michelle LaBrosse says even a golf game can be improved if approached like a project management professional.

This means setting an objective – just as you would when starting a business project – before teeing off, like whether you want to improve your swing or use the game to bond with your friends.

By following other basic project management steps such as planning, execution, monitoring, and closing the project, LaBrosse says the outcome of a golf game can be driven any way you want, because accomplishing a goal is really just a “state of mind.”

Golf isn’t the only activity in which project management comes in handy.

LaBrosse says day-to-day goals like weight loss, home renovations, getting the kids ready for school, planning a birthday party, and fixing your car can all be done with ease if managed in a balanced way that breaks down tasks and goals as you go.

She adds, “Your whole life is really just one big project.”
