Come Out, Come Out Whoever You Are

LAS CRUCES, N.M. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – Closeted celebs can come out and make an impact this Saturday (Oct. 11).

That’s because it’s National Coming Out Day, and Candace Gingrich, spokesperson for the Human Rights Campaign, says it’s a day when Hollywood’s secret same-sex lovers can come out to the world.

Gingrich says recently outed homosexual star Clay Aiken is a great posterboy for gay Hollywood because he’s a father balancing a personal life and a career.

She says, “I think Clay could be a great spokesperson for Coming Out Day. He should do a coming out album!”

Though Gingrich says no celeb should feel pressured to proclaim their sexual orientation, getting a big name to come out for the event – like an official confirmation from rumored lesbian Lindsay Lohan – would be a “very powerful thing” for the LGBT community.

She says, “We’d love to see a celebrity come on out October 11. It’s a day founded on taking the next step out of the closet.”
