The fest will bring more than 200 cars remodeled into outrageous mobile art sculptures to the Bay City streets today (Sep. 25) through Sunday (Sep. 28).
Among the artsy automobiles showcased will be one modeled into a push-button telephone, another decorated with hair curlers and bras, and one car shaped like a dragon.
And they arent crappy cars beneath all the paint and pizzazz.
Event co-founder Philo Northrup says, You can turn any car into an art car, but you dont want to start with a beater. Youre just setting yourself up for heartache if you do.
Northrup says that by converting a quality car you wont spend thousands of dollars remodeling it and then getting it to run.
Even with a nice car under all that wackiness, Northup assures your creative wheels safety and says there are no car thefts at the fest.
