Professional ‘Locator’ Can’t Hold Back Tears

FORT MYERS, Fla. (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – One professional locator gets all choked up when he reunites long lost loved ones.

Troy Dunn has been reconnecting families and friends for more than 18 years and documents his job on the new series The Locator.

Although he’s been helping people find each other for years, Dunn still gets teary-eyed at the sight of a reunion.

He admits, “I still have to turn my head and find a corner to go cry in. I like to sneak off while people are hugging, so they don’t feel awkward with me in the room. I don’t like to take a lot of credit.”

Once he’s alone Dunn lets out all of his emotions because he truly believes that “you can’t find peace until you find the pieces.”

His favorite locator gigs are the ones where he reunites identical twins or discovers that someone is related to a celebrity.

He also enjoys “bringing someone back from the dead” and reuniting them with people who thought they’d already passed away.

The Locator premieres Saturday (Sep. 6) on WE tv.
