Artist Hopes To Deck Out White House For Barack Obama

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash - FlashNews) – If Barack Obama wins over the White House, he’s going to have one colorful, decked out pad.

Acclaimed painter Chaz Guest has sold his art to celebrities like Oprah, Vanessa Williams, Tyler Perry, and Denzel Washington over the years.

Recently, his portrait of Justice Thurgood Marshall landed in the hands of Barack Obama, who proudly displays the painting in his office.

Guest is so inspired by the idea that Obama owns one of his paintings, that he’s currently working on a portrait of the presidential hopeful for when, “He becomes our next U.S. president.”

He hopes Obama hangs up the painting in the halls of the White House and would be happy to help decorate the spacious political digs with more of his artwork.

Guest says, “I could make that house look good!”

He’s already told Obama about the self-portrait and says the Democrat told him enthusiastically, “Hang on to that, Chaz!”

Guest’s oil paintings go for about $5,000 to $50,000 a pop and, as he puts it, “Explore what it means to be human.”
